Description:

Changes parameters in Conquest game mode to introduce more vehicles.

What is changed:
– AI now uses approximately 20% infantry units with rest being vehicles
– AI uses higher tier tanks and attack helicopters
– AI uses higher end units overall with focus on AT capabilities
– Targeting priorities are based on: player captured points, capture-able points and only then existing captured points
– Four waves total that are repeated: infantry, light vehicles, armored vehicles and helicopters, tanks and attack helicopters
– More AT capable units overall including infantry
– Total MP allowed for AI is substantially increased by at least 4x which allows for far bigger number of total units in session

Difficulty:
– first ten rounds are relaxed in terms of vehicle variety, to make gameplay enjoyable
– AI will use tanks on any difficulty
– Easy is inline with original experience on vanilla Heroic Conquest, no losses expected
– Normal has more activity going on than Easy, but still a bit more difficult than vanilla Heroic, no losses expected
– Hard is comfortable and rewarding experience for prepared player, you should see small losses here
– Heroic is now daring, which will engulf your foces in bloody firefight, heavy losses expected here

Starting New Game (first ten rounds):
– spawn time is increased
– no more mob tactics by AI
– AI will use limited number of mechanized units
– equal number of vehicles to infantry squads

Strategy:
– First five minutes should be spent setting up AT encampments, higher ground is beneficial here
– Have a tank positioned to take majority of hits, preferredly at each capture point
– Fog of war, while interesting, may pose significant problem for enjoyment, so enable it at your own peril
– You will have small window where you can capture vehicles before end of game round

The mod significantly increases difficulty and variety of engagements. These will be somewhat dramatic when you realize that AI just pulled in a tank, while you’re still engaged in targeting a few BTRs, keeping you from pulling out engineers. Engagements will also be longer, since you will have enemy vehicles constantly coming at you and every RPG or TOW will now be precious.

Infantry tactics can still be used, but to a limited degree since you will most likey be busy with managing your vehicles than leading squads around map. So in a sense infantry now serves limited role to assist vehicles (engineers) and provide deterrent against AI squads, which will show up at worst possible time.
