Improved PlayerPanel
Makes the vanilla Player Panels be nicer to look at. Nothing more.
Everybody has a name, even you yourself.
Modifies the player panel background images so there’s less pixelation on dark screens.
Also adds a brand new background for the local player, so there’s no re-use of other backgrounds.
Unless you change scripts/hudlayout.res (CHudLocalPlayerDisplay Ypos to r73) your own player panel will float higher up than the rest.
That’s just cause hudlayout.res for some reason was made to raise the players panel, and i cannot change the actual panel itself to undo this, without breaking other stuff in the process.
And shipping an entire hudlayout.res just cause one number is changed is also a bad idea, cause then you couldn’t use modified weapon displays, crosshairs and whatever.
I made a mod that alters the weapon panel and also moves this panel. You can find it here.
