Synthetic Oil – Unlocked by "Oil Turbine" (T5 production tech). Considered Heavy Industry
PM: Coal to Oil – 80 coal, 10 tools, 20 electricity -> 80 oil. Requires 500 shopkeepers, 500 laborers, 2000 machinists, and 2000 engineers.
Synthetic Rubber – Unlocked by "Art Silk" (T4 production tech). Considered Heavy Industry
PM: Coal to Rubber – 80 coal, 10 tools, 20 electricity -> 80 rubber. Requires 500 shopkeepers, 500 laborers, 2000 machinists, and 2000 engineers.
PM: Oil to Rubber – Unlocked by "Oil Turbine". 60 oil, 10 tools, 20 electricity -> 80 rubber. Requires 500 shopkeepers, 500 laborers, 2000 machinists, and 2000 engineers.
Synthetic Opium – Unlocked by "Nitrogen Fixation" (T4 production tech). Considered Heavy Industry
PM: Fertilizer to Opium – 100 fertilizer, 10 tools, 20 electricity -> 80 opium. Requires 500 shopkeepers, 500 laborers, 2000 machinists, and 2000 engineers.
These buildings are not intended to be profitable but instead to allow you access to critical input goods/pop needs when you can’t extract them naturally. They will almost certainly need to be subsidized if prices are near normal. If you don’t like the numbers you can go into the files in change them to whatever you prefer.
