Description:

No Longer Supported as I stopped playing Vanilla X2 a while back.
I’ve moved all my resources into the WotC Expansion now and play that exclusively.
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1253020874

A collection of my classes ported for Longwar 2 Compatibility. The Longwar 2 Mod is required for this mod to work correctly. Please note that this pack will stay combined as it is easier for me to edit so please just disable the classes you don’t want (see below).

Note: I do not personally play Longwar 2 so consider this a work in progress, changes made will be based entirely on user feedback.

I also want to give thanks & credit to InterventoR and everyone else involved with the LW2 makeshift changes to my original class pack. Without their efforts I likely wouldn’t have supported a standalone LW2 version.

1/ Class Summaries

For the full list of perks for each class please view the Discussions section.

i. The Assassin
The Assassin uses Stealth, Swordplay and Sniping to hunt down individual targets. This class is built in mind to lie in ambush and seize opportunities to ambush enemies.

ii. The Demolitions
The Demolitions mixes CQB combat with explosive deployment. They have the explosive capabilities of a grenadier but can also serve in mid to short range combat.

iii. The Gunner
The Gunner does what you expect, they use the cannon to deploy heavy fire. They have a wide range of perks allowing them to take multiple shots, deal lots of damage and provide support fire.

iv. The Mage
-The Mage is currently disabled
A Psionic class designed to level up like a normal soldier. I don’t like the way the Psionic soldiers level up and I under use them a lot. As a counter balance, this unit cannot learn all the psionic abilities. Feel free to disable this class if it doesn’t fit your game.

v. The Marksman
-The Marksman is currently disabled
The Marksman is a sniper focused soldier. They are built with the XCOM EU Sniper in mind but also retain some of the Sharpshooter style gameplay.

vi. The Medic
The Medic uses the Gremlin to deploy medical aid to anywhere you need it. They provide effective healing and are over watch specialists.

vii. The Raider
The Raider is a highly aggressive class built to fight up close and personal. They use the Shotgun & Sword.

viii. The Rifleman
The Rifleman is the grunt soldier of this pack. They can fight aggressively, easily taking enemy positions with assault tactics or fight more conservatively/defensively in the mid ground.

ix. The Scout
The Scout is a bit of a wildcard and very easy to overextend in battle. They can use stealth to spy on enemies, diversionary tactics to distract & evade foes and are master gunslingers able to pull of powerful pistol attacks and even kill from concealment.

x. The Survivalist
The Survivalist is a jack of all trades type. They can use any primary weapon and have a mixed perk set that allows them to be versatile and stay alive. They cannot specialize in anything but are the most flexible class in this pack.

xi. The SWAT
The SWAT is an aggressive unit best used on the frontlines. They can get up close to enemies to take them out, distract enemies with evasive perks and utilize tactical gear to support the squad if needed.

xii. The Technician
The Technician is the primary hacking unit in this pack and a very useful support tool. Using the gremlin, they can buff allies and debuff enemies, providing a variety of perks for players to utilize.
