Mercenary Reinforcements
Adds expendable (one-life) mercenary units as reinforcements.
These reinforcement units parachute in and allows your team to do grand scale pushes into enemy territory. Lead your team to victory! Push the enemy forces back!
Thanks to RavenWaffle for his awsome work creating and providing me his fantastic 3D mercenary model for this mod.

Play with 40% – 50% less bots than your usual settings.
On larger maps, reduce the "Team kill requirement" in the config settings accordingly.
- Mercenaries only have one life. When they die, they don’t respawn. They only come back in the next reinforcement wave
- Each kill reduces your team’s kill requirement by one
- First team to deplete their team’s kill requirement to zero are rewarded with mercenary reinforcements
- Reinforcements arrive equal to 40% of the total number of bots
- The losing team that did not deplete their team’s kill requirement before the other team gets a penalty of an 80% rollback to their team kill requirement
- The winning team gets their team’s kill requirement resetted normally to their standard kill requirement count.
- Team Kills or friendly fire will not decrement nor increment your kill requirement
Let’s say you usually play with 100 bots.
For this mod, dividing the bot count in half yields good game performance. So the total bot count is set to 50.
These are the default percent configuration settings:
Since the total bot count is 50 and the player is playing on team Eagle.
These are the resulting calculations:
Q: On some maps parachuting mercenaries clip through the map and fall into the waters below. Is there a fix?
A: Check the "Rescue out-of-bounds mercenaries" option in the mod config settings. The script will check for any idle mercenaries swimming below the map and teleport them back to a random frontline spawnpoint. Note: it uses a bit of extra cpu resource and may lower your FPS a bit.
Q: Parachuting mercenaries get stuck on top of roofs on some maps. Is there a fix?
A: Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to find a good fix for this issue. I suggest lowering the "Parachute height" in the mod config settings closer to ground level (zero or a bit higher).
