Stalker Class LW2
The Stalker class is best suited for high mobility, small squad Ops. Be it through concealed reconnaissance, immobilizing high priority targets in a tactical retreat or rushing the enemy, taking them out from the flank. If trained accordingly, the Stalker may also provide spotting support to the squad by making use of the holotargeter.
Primary Weapon: SMG, Assault Rifle or Shotgun
Secondary Weapon: Holotargeter
Squaddie Perks: Phantom, Holotargeting
- Skirmisher
Gain the Lightning Reflexes Perk. Gain +2 mobility.
- Undercover
Gain the Covert perk. Gain +1 mobility but lose 5 defense and aim.
- Hamstring
Take a shot for half damage with increased chance to hit (+20). A hit significantly reduces the targets aim (-40) and mobility (-8) for one turn. 1 AP, 1 ammo. Gain a movement-only action after taking the shot. T-3. Cannot be used with a shotgun.
- Ambusher
Gain the Ghostwalker perk. Gain +3 aim and crit.
- Aggression
Gain the Aggression perk.
- Death Sentence
Gain the Center Mass perk. Gain the Executioner perk.
- Crackshot
Take two shots at the same target, the second shot suffers a -15 aim penalty. 1 AP, 2 ammo. T-3.
- Prowler
Gain the Rapid Targeting perk (Holotarget as a free action, T-5). Holotarget no longer ends turn. Gain +5 defense and dodge.
- Surveillance Expert
Gain the HiDef Holo perk. Gain 2 free Battlescanners.
- Heads Down
Gain the Low Profile perk. Gain +3 defense.
- Tradecraft
Gain the Tradecraft perk.
- Anatomist
Gain the Vital Point Targeting perk. Gain +1 HP and +2 defense.
- Can’t Touch This
Gain the Untouchable perk. Gain +10 dodge.
- Die Hard
Gain the Tactical Sense perk. The first lethal shot against you will cause you to bleed out rather than die.
- Hunter
Gain the Rush perk (+5 mobility for the rest of the turn). T-3. Gain +5 aim and crit.
- Lone Wolf
Gain the Lone Wolf perk.
- Hunter’s Instincts
Gain the Hunter’s Instincts perk.
- Conceal
Gain the Conceal perk.
- Bring ‘Em On
Gain the Bring ‘Em On perk.
- Hit & Run
Gain the Hit & Run perk.
- Reposition
Once per mission, all allies gain invisibility for 1 turn. Allies lose remaining action points. All allies gain one movement only action.
Stats will vary slightly with hidden potential enabled.
The objective was to create a class that ‘fits right into the LW2 feel’. We wanted the class to offer several, equally viable, builds with the first few ranks setting the pace for each individual soldier. Stat boosts go with certain skills in order to add flavor to the specialized training. Hoping you enjoy the class and if you do, consider leaving a ‘thumbs up’ and/or feedback.
