The Minotaur is an agile, but heavily armored and shielded fighter for planetside engagegements. Purpose built to fight on the new legacy ground planets. It does ignore turrets and utility in favor of more shielding and frontal firepower. Also no Jump Drive!

This ship is heavily built for resilence, with an all around combat armor shell and internal armor to prevent chaining. Extra Armor to secure the generator. Thrusters are set up such that they will pull frontal fire into the armor, to cope with shield piercing fire from POI turrets. (At least from those that do fire at thrusters)

Note the stock forward thrust is rather low, barely taking it to max speed in space when empty. Planetside speed is fine.

Upgrades:
-There is some unmarked upgradeability, accessible if you remove the cockpit (Remove Armor around the core). You can also remove the extra layer of armor directly above shield and generator to get even more space.
-A Turret can be added on top in the center (unmarked)
-You can upgrade the outer thrusters for more forward thrust

Update 30.01.2025: Is now a weird Core 12 – didn’t find a good way to make use from the full core13 cpu on this ship. Also gained 2 light turrets.
