Vicarious Reality Early Access

This is the early acess version for the remake of the half-life opposing force chapter called : Vicarious Reality (Currently in Development) Note that map 2 and 3 will not be included in this version.

Play as Adrian Shephard again in black-mesa, biodome sub level section!
This is the early acess version, wich only include first map (3 maps will be in the final version)

-Will be a complete remake of the full chapter using black-mesa assets (1 map out of 3 for this version)
-Custom textures, models and sounds
-Reimagined and extended maps area
-Hecu soldier arms! (dosent replace or overwrite any bm file)
-Optional hud and more, black box team was kind enough to let me use their green hud, also include, suit male voice, nigt vision with opfor sound, m16 and pipe wrench. Installation instructions bellow.
-Race x alien are replaced with black-mesa npcs (since we cant add any new npcs)

-Now to install this you need go to your main steam folder then steamapps/workshop/content/362890/2976417497

-Go to your main steam folder then steamapps/common/Black Mesa/bms/custom (if you dont have a custom folder, simply create one in bms.)

-Now drop : Vicarious Reality hud and extra vpk, into your custom folder.

-launch the mod and enjoy.

-Take note, this is temporary, since its not possible to not overwrite the base game files when you make a map that is launched from the workshop, this is why the hud is an additional vpk, so that you can easily move it in/out quickly. The final version will have its own launcher and ui (just like blue-shift and hard course) this means that we will be abble to add as much as new skins and content to the mod as we want. For exemple the hud and m16 wont replace the base game one like this. For the moment the 357 will stay like this for the demo version, but my friend is currently working on a replacement, of course it is a desert eagle with a laser.

To launch this map, simply subscribe launch the game and then go to the steam workshop section and run the map from there! If you are using the old ui type this in the console : map bm_of4a1
