Operation Cold Anvil – Strike on Kamchatka
For months, NATO and the Warsaw Pact have been locked in a brutal conventional war, raging across land, sea, and air. The Soviet Union, desperate to break the stalemate in Central Europe, has turned to a new weapon—chemical warfare.
Intelligence reports confirm that a covert Soviet chemical weapons facility in the Kamchatka Peninsula is producing deadly agents for use against NATO forces. While the Soviets are believed to have stockpiled chemical weapons in multiple locations and their deployement is unavoidable, destroying this facility could significantly slow their ability to refresh their stockpiles, buying NATO critical time to bolster its defenses and prevent a devastating chemical escalation. However, if this facility remains intact, it will give the Soviets a deadly edge that could shift the balance of power and lead to catastrophic losses for the West.
In response, the Pentagon has ordered Operation Cold Anvil—a precision airstrike designed to neutralize the facility. Tasked with this mission is Carrier Task Force 77, led by the USS Kitty Hawk. Their objective: strike hard, destroy the facility, and withdraw before the Soviets can react.
With NATO forces engaged on multiple fronts, secrecy and precision are paramount. The order is clear: eliminate the target and avoid prolonged engagement. If Yelizovo becomes a direct threat, Task Force 77 is authorized to strike—crippling its runways, hangars, and radar installations. However, no American aircraft or personnel can be compromised—carrier integrity takes precedence over sustained combat.
As Task Force 77 launches its strike package in the early morning, the stakes could not be higher. The failure of this mission could lead to an unprecedented disaster— NATO forces could be overwhelmed, the war’s fragile balance shattered, and entire cities left defenseless.
The failure of this operation could mean the collapse of NATO’s front lines, a Soviet breakthrough into Western Europe, and untold civilian casualties as chemical agents are unleashed across war-torn battlefields.
