Changes every instance of "Merchant Republic" to "Maritime Republic"
"Maritime Republic" was more or less the historical title of these types of republics.
It’s also generally accurate to whatever playstyle you choose, because you’re always going to be a coastal republic as an MR no matter what; "Merchant" Republic on the other hand kind of implies that you’re playing as a merchant instead of just the ruler of a (very corrupt lol) republic.
Also this mod changes the Merchant Republic government icon from a pot of gold, which I found to be rather patronizing, to a small sailboat which I feel more accurately reflects the nature of the MR government type.
This mod also includes proper localization for German, French, and Spanish.
