Electric locomotives 3ES6 & 4ES6 "Sinara"

This mod adds to the game two reinforced modifications of electric locomotives of Sinara series: serial 3ES6 and experimental 4ES6. As the name suggests, the reinforcement was achieved by an additional booster section, which was installed between the heads of the locomotive. Throughout the year, this mod has been exclusive to our patrons. As a New Year’s gift, we are posting it for everyone.

Since December 15 in the Ru-Language community of the game the traditional event "New Year releases" starts. During this event, every day community will post new mods for players. Some for general access, some for team patrons. For more information, follow the news in our discord.

The mod includes:

• Electric Locomotive 3ES6 (since 2022) – electric locomotives are a reinforced modification of the classic 2ES6 electric locomotive. As the name suggests, for this locomotive an additional booster section was made at the factory, which was placed in the middle between the locomotive heads. This allowed to increase the power of the locomotive by one and a half times. The locomotive was specially designed to work with heavy trains on the Trans-Siberian sections (weight of trains up to 7 thousand tons), because three-section 2ES10 are used for heavier trains weighing 8-9 thousand tons, and the usual 2ES6 can pull no more than 5 tons. Thus, the middle niche between them was empty.
• Electric Locomotive 4ES6 (since 2022) – is an experimental reinforced modification of the classic electric locomotive 2ES6. As the name implies, for this locomotive the factory made 2 additional booster sections, which were placed in the middle between the locomotive heads. This allowed to increase the power of the locomotive by 2 times. However, after passing the tests, the 2ES6 locomotives never went into series. To some extent, this was due to the high cost of production. Besides, if necessary, the classic 2-section electric locomotives could be put into a CME coupling, and they remained more flexible for the fulfillment of tasks. But there is nothing in the game that prevents you from putting this electric locomotive into series production, and achieving incredible power for even the heaviest freight train.
