Allies Unknown: LW2 Mission
Allies Unknown has a built-in way of hooking into vanilla mission rewards.
For LW2 however, it requires a separate mission, so I made one designed to be a twist on the traditional VIP Escort: the alien operative you’ll be escorting comes armed by default, able to use their squaddie skills on the battlefield.
(So shinobi operatives will be *very* easy to escort, as one might imagine.)
This mission can spawn in contacted regions, and requires a minimum level of intel gathering in the region before you have a chance of detecting it.
Known Issues
Alien VIPs have invisible weapons. This can be fixed with a reload.
