World’s Hivers now wear clothes
Made for personal use as i didn’t like the last one i made but i couldn’t find the original files either
i didn’t like how most of the time hivers in vain would die pecked to death by beakthings, or how their soldiers wouldn’t have anything but a loincloth on themselves even when the shop has gear on stock, so i made this tiny mod to fix it
gives extra clothes (like undershirts, hats and some minimal armour) to most hiver NPCs (this includes southern and western hives alongside lost drones, but not fogmen) from a pool of clothes that made sense for them (simple straw hats for the workers, trader’s leathers and rags like some of them use, the kind of armour they sell on their shops, rusty chainmail for the southern soldiers, rags for the lost drones, etc), given most of them are randomized ontop of the pre-existing pool of possible clothes this tends to give hivers a ”raggedy” look, wich i found fitting however, as hivers would probably value utility over looks or comfort, using whatever they got at hand to make cheap gear for cheap units.
do consider this gives almost every hiver some kind of vest and armour, wich is still a considerable buff when compared to them being naked beforehand, so use with discretion if you want to add this to your game.
