Voxel Loco ‘DF’Type 10 FI
Introduction to R&D History：
The DF10FI electric transmission diesel locomotive is a railway vehicle designed and manufactured by Dalian Locomotive and Rolling Stock Works in 2000 for export to the Republic of Iraq. To adapt to the harsh operating conditions of high temperatures and sandstorms in Iraq, the vehicle’s intake system is equipped with filtration devices, and all parts of the vehicle have been sealed. This locomotive also adopts the 12V240ZJD diesel engine, modified from the 16V240ZJD diesel engine of the DF4D diesel locomotive, with a maximum speed of 140km/h. In 2002, a total of 50 locomotives of this type were manufactured and transported to Iraq by sea for delivery to the Iraqi State Railway.
