[Library of Babel] Sebastian Clain, Grief of the Griefless
"Will you make me feel again?"
The son of Sol Clain and Gerda, a powerful mage and a tormented soul who wish to be at the very least, cut down.
Sebastian is one of a few dedicated zoners in YOMI Hustle. He has multiple unique mechanics:
1. He doesn’t take damage. He still can be hit and enters hitstun and all. But he doesn’t lose HP. Instead, he stores damage he would take as, well, "Stored Damage" (blue orb). He can accumulate it infinitely. After some time while he stores damage, he also gains "interest" (x1.0, x1.1, x1.2, x1.35).
Also, when he is hit, he loses some time based on damage he would take. When his Time reaches 0, he takes all damage he stored with interest, and replenshes his Time.
Also, if he uses Hustle, he can remove some of Stored Damage and take the rest at x0.85 "interest".
Mind that this whole gimmick only works if his Broken Timepiece Level is below 3!
2. He starts at "Broken Timepiece 1" (aka Clock Level 1). At certain Stored Damage (300), he can consume some of it to increase his Clock Level. 2nd Clock Level unlocks something I’ll touch in gimmick 3. Then, at Clock Level 2, if he has 350+ Stored Damage, he can enter Clock Level 3. At Clock Level 3, 1st frame of each of his moves (not including universal moves) is cut off. So, all his moves are 1 frame faster.
3. He can Enhance and EX-Enhance his Specials and Supers. Enhance consumes some HP (in reality, it increases Stored Damage) and makes Special/Super stronger. Different Specials and Supers consume different amount of HP. EX-Enhance consume 2 Super Meter, but makes buff stronger/adds different buff. At Clock Level 1, he can only do Enhance for Specials. At Clock Level 2, he can Enhance both Specials and Supers. At Clock Level 3, he can EX-Enhance (he can’t EX-Enhance below CL3). At CL3, his Enhances consume no HP!
So, wield your powers with caution, because eventually, they will devour you whole.
