Description:

2.0 UPDATE: I GOT PERMISSION FROM MILLENIA TO PORT SOME OF THE WEAPONS HE WORKED ON FROM NEW VEGAS. WITH THAT SAID, THIS WEAPON’S MODEL IS REPLACED WITH MILLENIA’S VERSION OF THE IMI UZI[www.nexusmods.com] FROM HIS FALLOUT: NEW VEGAS MOD.

This mod adds the 9mm IMI Uzi Submachine gun for both soldiers and a sidearm for snipers. This originally used Call of Duty: Black Ops’ Uzi mesh, but I have replaced it since 2.0 was released.

Millenia, the author of Weapons of the New Millenia mod for Fallout New Vegas, granted permission to port his work from Fallout New Vegas to XCom 2. However, he can’t grant permission from several models that he used from other authors. I have to track the original source and make sure to read over their license and properly credit the author. If you love Fallout New Vegas and wanted to add more realistic weapons to the game, then check out his mod: Weapons of the New Millenia[www.nexusmods.com].

FEATURES

-You can apply camo and custom colors to the Uzi.
-You can configure the mod to your liking.
-Custom Weapon Sounds for the Uzi, now in stereo.
-Weapon Icon for the Uzi.
-Custom attachments for the weapon.
-A sidearm version is available for the weapon, for snipers.
-You can upgrade the weapon to magnetic and beam tiers, and keep the attachments for your weapons too.
-Corected the hands for the UZI, in Tactical, not in the Barracks/Soldier Customization however.
-New description + Changed some of the names.

KNOWN ISSUES

-As of 2.0, there is no Crit Bonus Attachment anymore, since this is a new model with different proportions.
-The weapon’s muzzle flash will clip through the suppressor, if you equip it. I cannot fix this at the moment.
-UI Icon is way too small in the Squad Selection screen. It needs a much bigger icon to fix this issue.

TODO

Fix some bugs, if any.
Port more weapons.
Custom animations.

-Support for LW2.
-Known Issue: The UI Icon is way too small. It needs a bigger icon to replace the old one.

-Replaced the UZI model with Millenia’s version.
-Sidearm version is available for snipers now. Building the magnetic/beam version upgrades both primary and secondary weapons.
-Replaced the weapon sounds. It’s now in stereo instead of mono.
-Removed the Crit Bonus Upgrade.
-Removed the Mobility and Reaction Fire bonuses.
-Split the ini into three separate ones.
-Renamed _AR to _CV in both the inis and scripts (Doesn’t make sense to call a submachine gun an AR).
-Fixed the position of the hands being off in Tactical. Barracks/Soldier Customization hand positions remain the same.
