Proper Infected Wounds [B42]
Dirty bandages are dangerous & can cause severe infections which make you sick, as it should be !
SP & MP compatible, safe to add to existing saves
You have a bandaged wound & your bandage gets dirty, now there’s a chance it causes a serious wound infection and if you have it long enough itll make you sick.
This mod adds more chance to cause severe wound infection (on default settings) but you can still get one naturally which is significantly less severe
Traits ‘Prone to Illness‘ & ‘Slow healer‘ and their positive counterparts affect the damage & sickness gain as well!
So You can tune everything to your liking !
You can find them under ‘Proper Infected Wounds’
Examples of how you can set it up :
Bandage damage only – Reminds you to change your dirty bandage !
Default with some damage on infected wound – Gives you a heads up before you get sick
Max infection chance & max damage on infected wound – If you really hate yourself

I’m getting damaged and i can’t see the infection !
If you have low first aid, you can’t see less severe wound infections, so just disinfict and apply clean bandage
If this persists it might be a bug so please leave a comment below !
Damage from wound infections is inconsistent
Wound infection severity is taken into calculations of damage as well, so as mentioned above you can have a natural occuring infection that deals less damage than the one from this mod
I got sick even after i disinfected the wound !
The sickness lingers for a bit after the wound infection is gone, you can get rid of it faster by beeing well fed
I didn’t get wound infection after long time with dirty bandage
That’s the limitation of the game, it only allows one instance of wound infection per wound
Unless the wound gets renewed, in which case you can get wound infection again
(When youre bitten you have wound infection initially, unless you get wounded again in that part, you cant get any more)
