[AO] Gambler’s Fortune
This is a simple modular pack that belongs to the Absolution Overhaul, and features all of the Cards and Pills that were originally seen in the Lite release of the project.
~ Not yet compatible with Repentance+ ~
All of the changes and additions detailed below have been documented on the Absolution Wiki, which can be found here [sites.google.com]. Please note, there may be inconsistencies if this mod is paired with any other that modifies the ‘pocketitems.xml’ file of the base game.
- There are a total of 42 brand new Playing Cards, adding in those that were missing in the base game and rounding out thetotal to a full deck.
- Several vanilla cards have been reworked to better match those added by this mod.
- All cards can be found naturally during runs, without any need to spawn them manually!
- There are a total of 10 brand new pills, which primarily focus on expanding on the effects seen in the base game.
- Several ‘neutral’ pills from vanilla have been reworked, now boasting significantly greater drawbacks when taken.
- All pills are appropriately affected by items that switch pills, and have Horse variants!
