Age of Civilizations – Boarth
Adds the Boarth playable race from the ‘Age of Civilizations’ series.
==============================================================
The Boarth have a few technologies missing—they can’t make soap or steel.
Instead, you can make a thriving, dark-ages economy with mine carts, siege engines, and pig iron.
Boarth learn skills 30% slower, making those who do become talented quite important.
They are quite likely to be strong and tough, and you’ll have no trouble filling out a militia.

Boarbrass
• This is what replaces STEEL for the Boarth, who are unable to turn Pig Iron into steel, but can turn Pig iron into Boarbrass instead.
• Created from an alloy of Brass and Pig Iron.
○ Brass itself is an alloy of Zinc and Copper.
○ Pig Iron is made from Iron and Flux.
○ Therefore this is a complex alloy, that has more steps than steel, but can repurpose otherwise decorative metals (brass) into weapons and armor.
• Can be used to smith Weapons, Armor and Ammo
• Bars can also be used to make buildings
• Value is 14 (from 7+10, Pig Iron + Brass) (Compared to 30 for Steel, and 10 for Iron)
○ Note: The raw value of a Boarbrass bar is less than the two separate individual bars.
○ However, crafted weapons, armor, and furniture are value multipliers.
○ The closest Vanilla material with approximately the same value is Electrum, a gold/silver alloy (which is unable to be crafted into weapons or armor).
○ There is no approximate Vanilla material that is the same price and craftable into weapons/armor. Thus Boarbrass is a new weapon/armor tier between Iron and Steel.
• Melts and Boils like Brass
• Same density and durability as Iron, but is +4 more valuable.
• Reaction
○ Smelt Boarbrass at Smelter
§ Reagents: 1 Brass bar, 1 Pig Iron bar, Fuel
§ Products: 2 Boarbrass bars
○ Boarbrass Smithing
§ Boarbrass is available in vanilla reactions (vanilla weapons, armors, etc.)
