The mod itself is created by a fully human person interested in making the forms actually become more than just cosmetic visuals, give more reason to pick some of the less popular factions (like poor moles with their cute fur) as well as letting for some nice combinations that are unavailable with 5 points per faction (especially when you spend these on Resistant Tough Hardy meta pick every game).
