Enemy Within Damage Rollback
Tweaks the damage outputs of most XCOM and ADVENT weapons to match their Enemy Within counterparts. For example, many of the ADVENT Troopers weapons have been modified to match their EXALT equivalents.
Why would you want to do this? There are many reasons actually. For example, you want the nostalgic feeling of rage when your weapon hits but fails to kill the weakest enemy in the game. Another example would be to make the game more challenging.
Now there was meant to be a long table here displaying ADVENT’s newfound overpowered-ness, but steam character limits refuse to let me write a list long enough. So long story short, all ADVENT weapons now actually have a range of damage, putting their weapons about on par with yours.
Another thing this mod does accidentally is encourage flanking as critical hits deal a great deal of damage.
Q: Will this work with Alien Hunters / Shen’s Last Gift installed?
A: Yes. The mod does make changes to some weapons from those DLCs, but it will work fine without them installed too.
Q: Will this work with Long War 2?
A: Quick answer: No.
Q: Will this work with <Insert mod name here> mod?
A: In the majority of cases, yes.
