PLAN Type 001 Liaoning/Shandong Style Texture for Kuznetsov
Liaoning Aircraft Carrier (Designation: Type 001 Aircraft Carrier, Hull Number: 16, short name: Liaoning) is an aircraft carrier operated by the People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) of China, and it is also China’s first commissioned aircraft carrier capable of carrying fixed-wing aircraft.
The Liaoning was originally the Varyag, the second ship of the Soviet Admiral Kuznetsov-class aircraft carriers. Construction began in Ukraine during the late 1980s but was halted due to the dissolution of the Soviet Union, leaving the ship about 68% complete. In 1999, China purchased the unfinished Varyag, and on March 4, 2002, it arrived at Dalian Port. By April 26, 2005, the Chinese Navy began refitting and completing the vessel. The PLA Navy’s goal was to modify and finish construction of this incomplete carrier for research, experimentation, and training purposes. On September 25, 2012, it was officially renamed Liaoning and commissioned into the PLAN.

About this Mod
This mod primarily integrates several community-made mods, allowing you to enjoy a "substitute Liaoning experience" while awaiting more advanced future releases from other talented creators.
Main Features:
Adds a Liaoning- and Shandong-style paint scheme for the community’s Kuznetsov-class carrier and includes it in the Chinese faction.
Replaces the original Su-33 carrier-based aircraft with the community-made J-15 skin mod, adjusting the air wing to 24 aircraft, and adds two airborne early warning helicopters to enhance situational awareness.
Equips the J-15 with domestic Chinese missiles from the J-11 mod, including the YJ-83K anti-ship missile to enhance naval strike capabilities.
