Super Mario Odyssey: Crazy Cap (REUPLOAD)
This is not mine. I am just uploading this to the Steam Workshop for preservation, as I managed to save a copy of this addon during the false DMCA takedown fiasco that took place back in April of 2024. Unfortunately, the name of the original creator(s) is unknown, but if they see this, I would like to credit them, and I will update the description. However, if they want me to remove this mod, I will respectfully comply.
However, if this gets removed through another false flagging, I’ll just reupload it again. The 2024 DMCA purge may have affected me and lots of other GMod creators, but we are not alone, and we are not giving up. I refuse to be silenced like the others who have been as they try to express their feelings and concerns about it. And I will not let this community down. I stand with other creators who want to do something about this, and I want to contribute to the revival efforts. Alright, enough of my rambling.
In lieu of the original addon description (as I was unable to find any information about this addon), I’ll make my own here.
Appearing in the 2017 Nintendo Switch game, Super Mario Odyssey, and even making an appearance in The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023), the clothing and headgear conglomerate, Crazy Cap, comes to life in the 2004 sandbox game, Garry’s Mod, as a playable, interactive map, allowing players to check out the store and either recreate scenes from Super Mario Odyssey, or create custom scenes with their own band of characters at their leisure. While Crazy Cap has multiple locations throughout other kingdoms in Super Mario Odyssey, this GMod map is specifically themed to the main location from New Donk City. As a bonus, this map includes the main theme cue straight from the game that plays throughout!
