罗德尼号战列舰HMS Rodney
罗德尼号战列舰(英语:Rodney)是英国皇家海军于两次大战间建造的纳尔逊级战列舰的二号舰(舷号29)。
于1922年在伯肯希德的Cammell Laird船厂建造，1925年下水，1927年12月11月10日服役。
其被命名为罗德尼以纪念海军上将乔治·布里奇斯·罗德尼男爵。
罗德尼号参加过著名的击沉俾斯麦号的战斗和诺曼底登陆。她于1948年3月被拆解。
罗德尼号与其姊妹舰纳尔逊号一样，是G3战列巡洋舰的削减版。
原本的G3计画因1922年的华盛顿海军条约而取消。
为了在条约规定的35000吨限制下达到美国科罗拉多级战列舰和日本长门号的火力，纳尔逊级采用3座三联装406毫米主炮炮塔全部在舰桥之前，
而动力机舱集中配置在舰体后部这种非常规的布局，目的是将有限的重装甲防护区最大限度集中在重点部位。
由于这种特殊布局设计，罗德尼号的航速被降低，装甲也被限制在关键部位。

HMS Rodney is the second ship (hull number 29) of the Nelson-class battleship built by the British Royal Navy between the two world wars.
It was built at the Cammell Laird shipyard in Birkenhead in 1922, launched in 1925, and commissioned on November 10, 1927.
It was named Rodney in honor of Admiral Sir George Bridges Rodney.
Rodney participated in the famous battle to sink the Bismarck and the Normandy landings. She was dismantled in March 1948.
Rodney, like its sister ship Nelson, is a cut-down version of the G3 battlecruiser.
The original G3 plan was cancelled due to the Washington Naval Treaty of 1922.
In order to reach the firepower of the American Colorado-class battleships and the Japanese Nagato within the 35,000-ton limit stipulated by the treaty,
the Nelson-class adopted three triple-mounted 406mm main gun turrets all in front of the bridge, and the power engine room was concentrated at the rear of the hull.
This unconventional layout aims to maximize the concentration of limited heavy armor protection areas in key areas.
Due to this special layout design, the speed of the Rodney was reduced and the armor was limited to key areas.
