*You don’t need to change the "AI Aggressiveness" setting in game options for this to work, no more ridiculous clicking!*
*This isn’t compatible with other mods*

This mod started to change the AI to be more warlike and aggressive, and is now a rework of all behavior. The end goal is to make the AI a worthy opponent that tries to play as a player would going for a world conquest.

In the base game the AI waits too long to prepare for war due to a few factors, and the mid to late game often becomes uneventful. The AI now prepares for war with lower thresholds for manpower, stability, and aggressive expansion. It will also prepare for war randomly more often, and colonize twice as much in all theaters. Unrest has also been reworked to prevent larger countries from falling apart easily.

The second update is out, now the AI will core much more frequently to sustain conquests. Building has also been reworked, in the base game libraries which do nothing (due to the base game’s research system) are set to be prioritized 93% of the time. No longer! The AI now builds up its economy and utilizes other buildings. It currently tends to focus construction on high value provinces, some will be heavily built up in the first two centuries. As the game goes on, it gets wider.

This is a work in progress. The to do list will likely change as I tinker, releases will only be done when it’s a clear step forward.

To do/wish list:

-Rework mid to late game AI-
-Likely will need to adjust thresholds for war targets
-Play test and adjust as needed

-Change army behavior-
-In wars the AI prioritizes removing occupation in its own territory too heavily
-Make it go "all in" or stick with sieges longer before the above ^
-The AI does at least know to target capitals in the base game
