Ares’s remove Auto-resolve Outcome
Do you find yourself auto resolving every battle because there is no risk? Are you tired of the new deterministic Auto-resolve Outcome panel, spoiling the result of every battle? This simple mod removes it from the game without making changes to the underlying autoresolve system.
I also added a new yellow button which works the same as the autoresolve button except it does not highlight units you will lose until it’s too late. This was done to add extra risk to autoresolving (new button is subject to change based on feedback). However, I left the old autoresolve button intact because I know a lot of players really enjoy that feature.
This mod is just a lua file that should not require updating, is save game compatible and should work with any other mod that does not modify the pre-battle screen UI. Haven’t tested it in MP but I have a feeling it might desync, please let me know if it works and I will edit the description. Was tested in MP and it does not work as intended, sometimes the outcome still shows up other times it does not.
PS: try at your own risk, it’s my first mod and I barely know what I’m doing 😛
