[CONFIG] Bonemaro
A tribute to Bonemaro from the HRG (Hot Rod Garage) series. It started out as an old 1979 junker Camaro and over the years they made it into a 9 sec car. At the heart was a turbo charged V8 LS motor. Having recently installed Multy’s Pipes mod I wanted to make a complete engine with fully conenecting pipes from engine to turbo, to intercooler, etc… and of course a bunch of bonus parts.
* Can be found in Junkyard, Auction, Barn, Phone Jobs (level 20).
* This config can be built without "Pipes by Multy" and "Tk Aftermarket" mods and just use the bonus parts, but it looks alot better if you use the mods.
- Pipes by Multy mod for all the turbo and exhaust piping. You can find this at: https://www.nexusmods.com/carmechanicsimulator2021/mods/175.
- TK Aftermarket mod required for Multy’s Pipes, Summit Radiator Kit, and CalTracs traction bars for rear suspension. You can find this at: https://www.nexusmods.com/carmechanicsimulator2021/mods/143.
- QoLmod which just makes everything better. You can find this at: https://www.nexusmods.com/carmechanicsimulator2021/mods/105.
- Rims DLC The default wheels are from Rims DLC but you can use whatever. I was just trying to get as close to the real thing.
If you have QoLMod mod installed it is easiest to find/buy the config directly as all bonus parts come installed by default as compared to breaking down a car to the bare frame and changing the config as the bonus parts won’t be there initially. Otherwise you can look at the pics above to see their placement and here is a list of each bonus part and its location:
- In the engine compartment: Single Turbo, Highflow Filter, TiAL Wastegate, and 2 Vibrant V Band.
- Interior of the car: Racepak Display in center instrument cluster, Switch Panel in center dash, and Rollcage.
- In trunk: Fuel cell and Fuel Cell mount.
* After painting the car you may want to paint the bonus parts separately to get the look I wanted which is what is shown in the pics above.
