Abyss Galega
A creature of hatred that chooses to mirror the likeness of Galega, the steam-powered vigilante
Formed deep within the abyssal gates, Abyss Galega emerges forth. Taking the likeness of Galega, they were created as one of numerous soldiers to break down the world of Aether. This soldier’s goal is to find and disrupt the turtle sanctuaries, a large group of structures housing the turtle monks. Serving as guardians and watchtowers, disrupting these stations will destroy a vital communication network within Aether. It is vital that these abyssal creatures are destroyed.
Abyss Galega can cancel into this move from any Normal or Strong attack, adding steam to the Steam Gauge.
Abyss Galega dashes forward, consuming steam and damaging enemies along the way.
If Abyss Galega has max steam, this move because a bit slower while gaining incredible strength.
Abyss Galega attempts to mimic the techniques of Galega’s Steam Geysers. Instead, purple spikes emerge from the ground that travel a short distance forward.
If Abyss Galega has max steam, Abyssal Spikes will go much further and stun the opponent on hit.
Abyss Galega huddles into it’s shell, ejecting steam and propelling itself into the air.
Enhanced Specials inflict Voidsick, hitting Voidsick players will quickly restore steam. This allows for sequential uses of enhanced Specials during combos. However, failure to keep Abyss Galega’s steam under control during combos will lead to significant self-damage.
Similar to Galega, Abyss Galega attempts to mimic his ability to hold steam within his shell and expel it for powerful attacks. However, Abyss Galega fails to properly handle this pressure, leading to self-inflicted damage at high pressures. Hitting opponents with max steam damages Abyss Galega, rising above 150% leads to an instant K.O. if they are hit. But due to this over-pressurization, Abyss Galega can use powerful versions of Galega’s steam-based techniques.
