LW Infantry
This is the Infantry class from the Shadow Ops Long War overhaul, as a separate class mod. The Infantry’s job is simple: shoot enemies. Bring a Rifleman to rain bullets with Light ‘Em Up and take precision pistol shots with Magnum and Flush, or take a Support to provide constant overwatch with Ready for Anything and extra healing with First Aid.
Squaddie
Bandolier: Grants an extra utility item slot only usable for ammo.
Suppression: Fire a barrage that pins down a target, granting reaction fire against it if it moves, and imposing a -50 penalty to the target’s aim.
Corporal
Light ‘Em Up: Taking a standard shot with your primary weapon as your first action no longer ends your turn.
Tactician: Missed shots with your assault rifle deal 2/3/4 damage. Rifle only.
Ready for Anything: When you make a standard attack with your assault rifle you automatically enter overwatch.
Sergeant
Magnum: Your pistol attacks get +10 Aim and deal +1 damage.
Flashbanger: Grants 1 free flashbang item to your inventory.
First Aid: You have one free medikit use on every mission. Each carried medikit gives you two additional uses.
Lieutenant
Zero In: When you miss an attack, you get +20 Aim on your next attack.
Executioner: Confers +10 aim and +10 critical chance against targets at half or less of their original hit points.
Fortify: Whenever you enter overwatch or use suppression, you gain +20 Defense until the start of your next turn.
Captain
Flush: Fire a pistol shot that automatically hits and forces the target to move to new cover. 3 turn cooldown.
Improved Suppression: Your Suppression ability also disorients the target.
Second Wind: Using a medikit on an injured unit also grants that unit a bonus action point.
Major
Good Eye: Your shots can’t be dodged.
Resilience: Enemy attacks against you suffer a -50 penalty to critical hit chances.
Focus: Your first reaction shot each turn is guaranteed to hit.
Colonel
Coup de Grace: Killing an enemy with your pistol doesn’t cost an action.
Elite: Gain +2 HP, +5 Aim, and +5 Will.
Savior: Healing abilities restore four additional hit points.
Brigadier
Full Auto: Take a shot with an aim penalty of -20. If you hit the target, you take another shot on the target automatically. You keep taking shots until you miss or run out of ammo. Requires both actions. 3 turn cooldown.
Airstrike: Once per mission, call in an airstrike that does 8-12 damage in a large area. Costs both actions and only works outdoors.
Zone of Control: Take a reaction shot against any enemy that moves or attacks within your vision. 3 turn cooldown.
