Authentic Regional Police
This mod aims to make Build 42’s regional police vehicle spawns more realistic.
With this mod enabled, the distribution of police vehicles is drastically improved. By default, all police vehicles – no matter how common a specific department would be in real life – have the same spawn chances as each other. For example:
Without this mod, one might not be able to find a SINGLE Louisville City Police vehicle in the entirety of Louisville because of all spawns getting replaced by county or state police.
With this mod, however, one would have to be extremely unlucky to not find a city police car in Louisville because of the vastly increased spawn chances.
It’s obvious the vanilla scenario would never realistically happen, simply because of the city police department having jurisdiction in only one area: the city itself. Other police departments, like County Police or the State Police, would be involved much more in fighting the zombie outbreak in other parts of the county and state, respectively, where there is no police force dedicated to that specific area.
Common police car:
– Louisville: 80% City PD, 10% County PD, 10% State Trooper
– Louisville suburbs: 75% County PD, 25% State Trooper
– Louisville International Airport: 50% Security (Pickup), 12.5% County PD, 37.5% State Trooper
– Valley Station: 50% Sheriff’s Office, 25% County PD, 25% State Trooper
– Muldraugh: 62.5% City PD, 25% Sheriff’s Office, 12.5% State Trooper
– West Point: 75% City PD, 25% State Trooper
– Rosewood: 75% Sheriff’s Office, 25% State Trooper
– Riverside: 75% Sheriff’s Office, 25% State Trooper
– March Ridge: 100% State Trooper
– Everywhere else: 20% Sheriff’s Office, 80% State Trooper
Rarer police vehicle:
– Louisville: 60% City PD (SWAT), 20% County PD, 20% State Trooper
– Louisville suburbs: 75% County PD, 25% State Trooper
– Louisville International Airport: 60% Security, 10% County PD, 30% State Trooper
– Valley Station: 50% County PD, 50% State Trooper
– Everywhere else: 100% State Trooper

All this mod does is adjust how common the specific law enforcement organizations are – nothing more, nothing less.
