Allies Unknown Species Mod: Asari
Added in Kexx’s Thessia update, allowing for more faces (Samara and Aria), and different selections of palettes.
The biotic capable race of Mass Effect is ready to serve, at 100 supplies a pop.
This time demonstrating how to make a species that can still use human assets. Works with vanilla, DLC, and even mod-added props!
Asari come with the Biotic Barrier ability, enabling them to have a 2 point (by default) shield at the start of every turn. They can also regenerate that shield by 1 point at the start of their turns.
In terms of stat variations, they are identical to humans except in HP, Psionic Offense, and Will:
Rookie
Asari have 4 HP, 40 will, and 20 Psi Offense.
Veteran
Asari have 3 HP, 40 will, and 20 Psi Offense.
Commander
Asari have 3 HP, 30 will, and 20 Psi Offense.
Legend
Asari have 2 HP, 30 will, and 20 Psi Offense.
These stats can be changed in the mod’s XComGameData_CharacterStats.ini
Cosmetic transitions can break Asari’s cosmetic options, use this to fix it if it’s enough of an issue for you.
