Ia Drang Valley, Gia Lai, Vietnam Map
This 15km x 15km map is of the Ia Drang Valley located in the Central Highlands of Vietnam. This region is well known for the Battle of Ia Drang, including the famously known battle of LZ X-Ray and the tragic ambush at LZ Albany, all part of Operation Silver Bayonet I in the Pleiku campaign.
I did my best to recreate this area as faithfully as possible. All geographic information was taken from 1965 topographic maps created by the U.S. National Imagery and Mapping Agency.
