Welcome Mech Commander.

This is a mod I made for fun set in the Battletech Universe during the Clan Invasion of 3050. This is a small proof of concept I made over 3 days. All art assets are originally from Megamek (https://megamek.org/). Just altered to fit faction camo’s by myself.

The mechs are modelled as vehicles so feature no moving animations.

Balanced somewhat to tabletop, using values for speed and range where possible (although range doubled). As such, expect Clan weapons to be OP as by design. More ammo included on all mechs.

What is included?

38 weapons
>Both inners sphere and clan weapons of common weapons.
>Battletech tabletop references used for damage and range values. Range values doubled for all weapons as tabletop values resulted in super close combat for everything

24 Mechs, 6 aerospace fighters and Elemental Battle Armour
>Each faction has 8 total mechs, for 2 mechs per weight class.
>Each faction has 2 aerospace fighters
>Clan Wolf has Elemental battle armour which is currently the only infantry in game.
>Mechs should be accurate to 3050 and weapon selection mostly accurate to reference sheets.

That is the quick summary. Currently no plans to update as only a proof of concept and if the sequel has modding capability, I will focus my attention there.

Weapon Summaries
AC – Auto cannons. Think Tank cannons. Bigger number, shorter the range but bigger the boom. Clan variant shoot twice.

LRM – Long range missiles. Some of the longest of weapons, shooting missiles equal to their number. Great for suppression. Innersphere variant have a minimum range.

SRM – Short range missiles. Tin can.

Lasers – Damage and range determined by size. Large being most powerful and longest range. ER = longer range. Pulse = more accurate.

PPC – Particle Projector Cannon. Shooting lightning across the battlefield at long ranges. Damaging but Innersphere basic variant has minimum range.

MG – Last resort. Close range, good if shooting in the back or at light mechs.

Flamer – Like machine guns but fire.
