The Shogun’s Samurai Elite – TAKEDA version. An Elite Reskin
Note to fellow samurai fans = Hey fellas. Check patch notes if you ever wanna know what my updates do and contain. I always write descriptions for those curious.
PLEASE READ = if you want an enhanced experience, download WEAPON mod, Takeda ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and Takeda Add.
They add some extremely cool banners to Takeda SHingen + Cool banners to great guard and such.
Ill consider making a mod that combines these edits in the next few days.
Hey again fellas.
This mod is an exact replica of my original one. Except… this one is for Takeda specifically.
Reason is that Bullgod’s Takeda Shingen has a very cool shoulder model. Very reminicent of the samurai hero from the Shogun 2 Launch Trailer.
However, the texture is custom and I therefor cannot just put it in the original mod as the red, gold texture would appear on other clan heroes.
Blue date, Green Shimazu etc. Would look weird to some people. So… to avoid that. Here is a pure Takeda version. The pictures you’ll see above show off the unique red shoulder of Osode armor. Very cool stuff.
On top of that, this mod also contains my Takeda Shigen mod + Mask mod.
So you get the complete package.
Let the mighty Takeda Cavalry carry the Tiger of Kai to the Shogunate!!!!!

This is a passion project of mine. Wanted these changes for a long time and just recently realized how variation mesh editing works.
And I just had to share my creative edits.
However. I’d never have been able to do this without the following people mentioned both directly and indirectly.
First of all Makuyi’s mod that started my understanding. Thanks a lot to you for creating the fantastic archers here. As well as the cherryblossoms that crashed me system once. Haha!

Now. Few details.
Nr 1: Always run this mod FIRST before any other graphical overhaul mods you might have. You can do this via a mod-manager or simply use the default mod manager from CA, tick the mod box, run game. Then quit and enable the other mods.
Nr 2: If you are unhappy with my designs or such, dont worry. I will include a tutorial sometime here where I describe exactly what you gotta do to EASILY mod this pack.file and manually edit out the stuff you dislike.
Nr 3: I hope to get in touch with Bullgod soon. But if I never do, I’ll upload a version of Takeda Shingen, using his models to finally put a mask on him.
Something I’ve dreamt of for years but have never been able to do, and nobody have done it publically.
I hope I can get his permission as requested but he has abandoned his work soon 3 years ago and I dont know the status of his work overall anymore.
Time shall tell and lets hope 🙂
This mod is a combination of the efforts of others. I’m merely a creative editor that finally got some dreams come true.

Nr 1: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?540561-Daimyos-amp-Generals-MOD-(updated-feb-26-2016-reupload) By Bullgod. His amazing mod turning generals into legendary figures visually as they are historically.
Nr 2: My fixed Archers of the Wind mod made by Makuyi. It’s a truly wonderful unit and if you’re an onna bushi lover like myself, you’ll enjoy it. I got an update coming to that mod soon. Fixing a few things and possibly adding variation.
Nr 3: The Legendary Samurai Mod by Kaplan [MA]. — https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1138807386&searchtext=legendary+samura — You can totally use both my mod here as well as his because this mod only affects Elite units.
So, if you download his, but load mine first. And then his afterwards, you’ll see all units in game have their textures altered to be more armored and such. Whilst my elite edits here remaining intact.
Just make sure that my mod loads 1st 🙂
Nr 4: Shogun Ashikaga mod. — https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=160740527&searchtext=shogun+ashikaga — Why? because its models are damn epic and I love to play around with it. But hey, your call 🙂
Nr 5: The Onna Bushi mods which you can easily find on workshop. I use Onna Bushi Katana and the Onna Pack mod that adds in onna bushi matchlock, archers etc. However take note. The collection mod wont read my changes. For that to happen you gotta edit a few things within that pack.file which I’ll explain at a later date in a tutorial. Simple stuff 🙂
Nr 6: The_Yogi’s face edits to his Onna Bushi troops. I asked for permission to borrow the textures but I’ve yet to get a reply. Just a disclaimer. He’s the real artist here. I just mixed them together:)
