BR Electrostar Pack [Update Pending]
Notice, March 2024: An update for this mod is planned, and will bring it up to current standards. Please note that an estimated date cannot be given, since I can only work on mods in my free time. Thank you for your understanding.
The Electrostar family of EMUs is the most common type in the United Kingdom since the privatisation of British Rail with a number of variants. Electrostar trains are most common on high-volume suburban commuter routes around London; and on mainline services from London south to Surrey and the south coast, east to Essex, and north to Cambridge and Stansted Airport.
The model shares the same bodyshell and core structure as the Turbostar which is the most common post-privatisation DMU family. The Turbostar and Electrostar platforms are a modular design, sharing the same basic bodyshell and core structure, and optimised for speedy manufacture and easy maintenance.
This pack includes the following trains and liveries (subclasses are not listed, but they are included):
- Class 357 (c2c blue, c2c green, c2c green prototype, National Express)
- Class 375 (Southeastern blue, Connex)
- Class 376 (Connex)
- Class 377 (First Group blue, Southeastern blue, Southern)
- Class 378 (London Overground original and revised, fictional London Underground)
- Class 379 (National Express)
