One of the PLA’s destroyers with new stealth tech have managed to penetrate our third island chain radar line, and there is no way yet to tell for certain if it was the only one. Our logistics line to California is in dire need of protection, so the de-mothballed USS Port Royal (CG-73) in Pearl Harbor has been deployed to the North Pacific to escort any of our forces back to Hawaii.
All of our critical assets have been moved to the front, so this is a really bad situation to find ourselves in if they get the drop on us. We have the reduced Hawaii Air National Guard, as well as a squadron of F-18Fs that were stuck at Hickam for repairs when everything kicked off, at your disposal. Alongside those, the Carl Vinson can still sortie a limited number of its own F18s carrying the AIM-174B missile.
It is highly advised that you do not use your surface or air search radars unless you absolutely need to, as the PLAN Maritime Marine SIGINT is monitoring this area and prepared to launch salvo after salvo of ballistic missiles at the Carl Vinson the second she turns her lights on.
Sink the PLAN surface forces at all costs. Good hunting, Commander.
