SUMMARY = Swapping a few default images with custom versions.
As promised in the SwappImg! mod description.. this secondary "Extension Mod" will serve as a demonstration of what capabilities that Combo-Tool can offer you.
1) The ‘purplish’ Lily Shen has been bothering me since release – so i made a much more natural portrait for her.
2) A UFO has crashed or just landed! Seriously, why would an ADVENT Logo be used as the Mission symbol? 😉
3) John Bradford is a very special Ranger during the Vipers Nest assault… now, his own unique Class-Icon makes it obvious.
4) The Avenger Scanning timers trio had light grid backgrounds. IMO, it’s off-standards with GTS panels which are darker. Now, they are matched.
5) PCS were colored as INV_entory items. Their Perky tags deserves that distinction as well. While i had those under my creative thumb.. i’ve also FIX‘ed the default "Dodge" Psi-Twirl with an image related to that specific context.
The UC script that can produce these kind of results is fairly straight forward for anyone knowledgeable enough, i gather. The method is quite simple, the Library Paths and Texture2d files must be valid. And — so — on.
If you know what you’re doing… have fun customizing whatever you want with this Tool. Otherwise, i’ll be writing a more thorough documentation text for everyone else interested but somehow limited in their coding skills — soon. I’m actually quite busy with multiple other Mods (GeoscApps, LAByrinth, qUIck-s, etc) at this moment… so it may take awhile before i can spare time on this relatively important task. Yet, i’m NO teacher! 🙂
