StormGuard Infantry Class
Another Rifle Infantry Class. There are quite a few Infantry, rifleman, and Trooper class designs on the Steam Xcom 2 workshop.
Why another one?
Basically I found many of the class designs a bit random and over powered. That is not to say they are not well made or even better than this mod as far as skill or fidelity of design. My goal is a bit simpler and to the point and I believe scaled back in power. The intent of the design is to make 2 trees with abilities that represent the fundamental aspects of retro Xcom basic infantry unit. The first is the Insurgent, a defensive scout used to open up the field and not die. The second is the Regular, which represents an upgraded rookie without class specialization.

Squaddie: Blast Padding
Tree: Insurgent / Regular
CPL: Ever Vigilant / Salvo <– Ever Vigilant is using the pistol for over watch instead of rifle
SGT: Deep Cover / Volatile Mix (one action overwatching uses the rifle and still gets Deep Cover)
LT: Lighting Reflexes / LightEmUp (Special thanks & credit to Lucubration for code and permission)
CAPT: Covering Fire / Suppression
MAJ: Aim / Field Medic
COL: Guardian / Demolition
– Added shotgun, as a primary weapon option. I may remove it if it feels like it takes too much from Rangers. My guess is not since it doesn’t come with ranger abilities and I added if for mods like "Not created Equal" so you can give it to your guys who can’t shoot.
– Disabled AWC bonuses for this class. Alternatively I could disable specific abilities but part of the point is that the class is not too over powered. Redundant abilities force the tree selection and none redundant abilities can make it way too powerful.
