Strudeler’s Heroes: Don Quixote & Sancho

The Hidalgo turned Knight-errant, Don Quixote of La Mancha, and his trusted squire, Sancho Panza, join Heroes & Legends.

The ingenious and witty Don Quixote of La Mancha and the loyal Sancho Panza have enchanted the erudite masses for centuries. The valiant Don Quixote joins Sid Meier’s Civilization VI as a light cavalry hero. The Knight continues his quest of righting wrongs wherever he finds them; in particular, he is effective against enemies with higher strength (as only a giant could outmatch the knight-errant’s strength; therefore, it must be cut-down) while also being extremely resilient due his miraculous concotion: the Balm of Fierabras.

Origins: Spain (Andalusia and Castile), 1600s AD

• Requires: RISE AND FALL, GATHERING STORM, and BABYLON.

  HERO: DON QUIXOTE & SANCHO

• Unique Ability – Don Quixote’s Giantslaying: +10 Combat Strength against Units with higher combat strength.
• Unique Ability – Don Quixote’s Balm of Fierabras: Ignores penalties from being damaged and heals at the end of every turn.
• Common Ability – None: As a Light Cavalry Unit with high movement, this unit does not have a movement ability such as Swift, Agile, or Rugged.

Works with STRUDELER’S CIVILIZATION VI DELUXE.

Strudeler’s Civilizations that have a unique Temple replacement (Delhi, Nasran) are compatible, granting the appropriate 15% discount when summoning Don Quixote & Sancho again.
