Balkanica
The Balkans are a very underrepresented region in EU4. While this is somewhat understandable seeing as the majority of it got relatively quickly subsumed by the Habsburg and Ottoman Empires, the situation there was quite interesting and it’s a shame that it was not covered.
Balkanica aims to amend this by adding more flavor to all the nations within the peninsula.
Now you may ask where is Balkan? That I do not know.
The nations with a fair amount of content currently added are: Cilli, Bosnia, Ragusa, Montenegro, Herzegovina
- Three large (25+ mission) mission trees
- Two small mission trees
- A new religion: Krstjani (Bosnian Church)
- A new formable: Illyria
- Culture changes, including a new Albanian culture group
- Seven new government reforms
- Four new monuments
- A new subject type: Regencies
- Name/setup changes to better reflect some countries at 1444
- More events
- Fikou – General design, Regency mechanics, Cilli/Zeta missions, all government reforms, all art
- MrMelbert – Krstjani mechanics, Bosnia/Hum/Ragusa missions, most events, all monuments
- PositivelyLukas – QA, proofreading
- Maxipat – QA
