Description:

This is a mod that changes a lot of aspects about MX and tries to rebalance them.

This mod was made upon the COMPETITIVE MX Mod by Jamie™

Which was also made based on the ORIGINAL MX Mod by qwerty

Changes (THEY ARE ALL SUBJECT TO CHANGE)

  • Armor is GONE
    MX is already a heavy character with relatively fast attacks with decent range for a heavy, with high resistance to knockback and an extra life, he does not need the passive armor.
  • The extra stock damage starts off at 280%
    At first this may seem like a severe number, but considering how broken another opportunity is, it is only fair, and after some testing, even if starting at 280%, the enemy still needs to put a bit of effort for finishing off MX.
  • His speed has been reduced, because the original version of MX feels like a bird flying through the stage with how big he is, making it very easy for him to zone off and have good control over the air.
  • He is slighty more heavy, he will fall to the ground faster but this does not affect hitstun or knockback gravity.

    Changes to attacks

  • FTILT
    Adjusted the angle and a bit the knockback, it should now send foes more vertically, the hitbox is also smaller now.
  • FAIR
    Made the spike hitbox smaller, and LOWERED THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ VOLUME OF THE SOUND
  • FSPECIAL
    Faster horizontal speed, adjusted knockback and damage, knocking enemies along you should feel more consistent now instead of passing right through them, however the knockback does not scale with damage and is always fixed. And to make up for the lack of armor and prevent heavy zoning, the charge hitbox destroys projectiles and the hitbox itself has high priority.
  • FSTRONG
    Execute at 200%, let’s be real at that point they’re already dead to any other MX attack.
  • DSPECIAL
    Deals 1 damage but now stuns briefly just like in pillar chase 2 omg
  • NAIR
    Made the Hitbox more consistent and now has less knockback
  • DASH ATTACK
    No longer lunges forward, MX now stops right as you press the button, also lowered the knockback scaling
  • NSPECIAL
    Less knockback.
