Description:
October 28, 1984: Following the battle off the English coast and a decisive blow dealt to the Soviet Navy, NATO High Command begins searching for opportunities to take advantage of this swing in momentum. NATO intelligence learns that the TU-22M Backfires based in Iceland have exhausted their fuel reserves, and a resupply mission is en route to provide fuel. NATO sends a strike group to destroy the resupply convoy and eliminate the Backfire threat, ensuring Iceland’s liberation.
