Petlyakov Pe-2-205 for Ravenfield
The Petlyakov Pe-2. This aircraft was one of the Soviet Union’s most celebrated tools of aerial warfare. This mod was created as a commission and changes will only be made upon request by the commissioner.
Armament:
– 7.62mm ShKAS machine guns in the nose.
– 7.62mm ShKAS machine guns in the sides and the belly.
Bomb Loadout:
– Carries 4 bombs externally
Important Note:
This aircraft is designed primarily for dive bombing, this is not yet able in ravenfield but is also capable of fighting, ground attack just as it was historically used. Minor adjustments to speed and handling have been made for balance and realism.
Historical Note:
The Petlyakov Pe-2 served across the Eastern Front in nearly every difficult mission that single-engine aircraft couldn’t handle. Over 11,400 were built, making it one of the most-produced Soviet bombers of World War II. Admired alongside the IL-2, the Pe-2 became a true symbol of Soviet air power.
