Vietnam Hamlets II: Patrols
Similar to the first map in this series, a 15 x 15km map of southeast Asian jungle. This map is intended for dismounted and motorized infantry patrols, with many potential objectives in the form of small hamlet villages, but also some camps and garrisons for defend / attack missions. Terrain is variable, with not a lot of open spaces, so infantry can do very well here, whereas armor is susceptible to ambushes when travelling along roads. Each village, OP/LP, Hilltop and cantonment area is hand crafted to provide tactical choices and idealized defensive positions as well as avenues of approach when advancing. I hope everyone has enjoyed this series of maps.
