This mod is my take on a more interactive fatigue system.
We Darkest Dungeon Now.

Making Willpower Important

A soldier’s willpower now represents their level of fatigue.

A Use for the Bar/Memorial

The Bar/Memorial has 4 R&R slots by default.
You can unlock 2 more by purchasing squad size I and II
You can add more via INI edit.

Well Rested

Soldiers receive bonus XP for just being on a mission now.
The amount of XP provided is proportional to that soldier’s willpower percentage.
You’ll net more XP per mission if you bring well rested soldiers

Afflictions and Virtues(WIP)

Non-Robotic Soldiers (including enemies) will lose willpower when they are attacked.
The amount lost depends on whether or the attack hit, crit, grazed, or missed, and the damage output of the weapon performing the attack.
When a soldier hits 0 willpower, they roll for an affliction or a virtue, similar to what soldiers in darkest dungeon do when they hit 100 stress.

This feature should be functional, I haven’t really tested it at all.
So far only 2 afflictions have been implemented, and virtues haven’t been implemented yet.

Current Afflictions

All afflictions will reduce a soldier’s stats greatly.
-40 hacking, -40 psi offense, -20 defense, -20 dodge, -20 aim, -20 crit chance.
Afflictions will immediately cause a soldier to panic.
Paranoid
The paranoid affliction will make a soldier shoot anything that enters within 4 tiles, including allies.
Hopeless
The hopeless affliction will cause a soldier to scream in terror every turn, lowering the willpower of all allies.

You will be able to see a green bar below the health bar, which is a given unit’s willpower bar.

Highlander

When you level up, a soldier’s willpower is reset to maximum
This can negate the impact of morale in the early game.
If that’s fine with you, then great. But my highlander will prevent this from happening.
Do note that the highlander has special install instructions, involving the copy and paste of two UPK files.

Mindshields

Mindshield has now been changed to decrease willpower loss by 75%.
