Doomsday watermelon launcher.
This is an American Cold War nuclear recoilless gun system introduced in 1961. Designed from the fear of a mass Soviet wave rushing across Europe, the M29 and its sibling the M28 could provide a tactical response to enable counterattacks. However, the design proved to be too inaccurate to be effective and was slowly phased out of service in the span of a decade.
