Welcome to GM_City17_Episodic! This is a heavily modified and edited map from the Half-Life 2 Sandbox Map Compilation! Which can be found here.

Have you ever wondered what it’d be like during Episode 1 where Gordon used to go through in the Uprising chapters of Half-Life 2? Well now you can! This had been a childhood thought of mine for a long while and I’d thought today I’d work on this little project and make it into a reality.

I might make more, stay tuned!

What really changed?
  • Added random events such as helicopters flying above the map every 5 to 10 minutes.
  • Added ambient gunfire.
  • Added Kleiner cast.
  • Replaced Citadel with Episodic variant.
  • Replaced Soundscapes with Episodic variants.
  • Replaced Skybox with Episodic variant.
  • Kleiner lab fully explore able and functional.
  • Some textures to match with the original pre-uprising maps.
  • Removed all scripted sequences.

How can I disable X?
  • Random Events, by running "ent_fire passive_npc_timer Disable" or "ent_fire passive_npc_timer Enable" in console you are able to either disable or re-enable the random events logic.
  • Ambient Gunfire, same as above but replacing the "passive_npc_timer" name with "env_gunfire", running it will either disable or re-enable the passive gunfire in the background.
  • Kleiner cast, just kill him for now.
