The Forbidden Suits
Hey, buddy- you like cards? Yeah. Hearts, Diamonds, Clubs, Spades- everyone knows ’em, everyone loves ’em. But what if I told you there were MORE suits to play with? Suits so obscure and experimental, they might be considered… FORBIDDEN!
This mod adds 8 new cards!
EAGLES (Bridge- USA)
-Ace of Eagles: Turns all pickups and enemies into micro batteries. Can’t be mimicked with Blank Card.
-2 of Eagles: Doubles the current charge of your held active item, up to 2x max charge. If your active item has no current charge, grants 2 points of charge. No effect if no chargeable active is held. (Blank Card charge: 1 room)
ROYALS (Bridge- Great Britain)
-Ace of Royals: Turns all pickups and enemies into random trinkets. (Blank Card charge: 12 rooms)
-2 of Royals: Turns your currently held trinkets into their golden variants. If you already have a golden trinket,this card grants a passive copy of it! Does not affect previously gulped/smelted trinkets. (Blank Card charge: 12 rooms)
SHIELDS (The Deck of Shields)
-Ace of Shields: Turns pickups into monsters, then applies a permanent charm effect to all monsters in the room, turning them into friendly companions that assist you until they die. Charmed enemies have their health reduced to about 30%, but gain more on later floors. (Blank Card charge: 6 rooms)
-2 of Shields: Spawns a copy of each of your familiars, persisting between rooms for 60 seconds. If you have no familiars, grants a temporary Brother Bobby and Sister Maggy instead! (Blank Card charge: 4 rooms)
STARS (Various)
-Ace of Stars: Turns everything into shop items. Prices are based on the item’s quality. Prices can be in coins, or hearts! (Blank Card charge: 6 rooms)
-2 of Stars: Grants a copy of one of your passive items, chosen at random. If you have no passive items, grants a random Planetarium item! (Blank Card charge: 12 rooms)
