Killing The Bird: Kiskadee Hi-Central Residential Building, City District of High-Central
Some people believe they should be on top of the world, with their boot on its neck.
[OBJECTIVE]
Infiltrate the 47th floor of the Kiskadee Hi-Central Residences (KHCR) to locate and assassinate The Bird.
[TARGET PROFILE]
CODENAME: THE BIRD
Real name Kleb Tolagnius, he is a billionaire with a growing public profile and connections to the Free Assist Party (FAP) which currently controls the government. As a media tycoon, he has weaponized his control over news organizations and social media to dehumanise and incite hatred towards minority groups while promoting an Assist agenda, all the while donating to Assist political campaigns and supporting policies to erode worker’s rights and substantially ease taxes on People of Wealth (PoW). Using his connections with the Ministry of Domestic Affairs (MoDA), Tolagnius personally oversaw the creation of the now-infamous ‘Moral Therapy Centres’ where he aimed to ‘purify the nation of undesirables’, starting with ‘those with non/deviant sexualities’, then later on targeting immigrants, journalists, political dissidents, and more. He has been hoarding power and wealth, while directing anger at scapegoats to placate the increasingly desperate and deprived masses.
His social media posts, when not filled with vitriol against ‘corrupting forces’, have increasingly been used to show off his flashy guns and awkward martial arts training to portray a more masculine image. It’s mostly theatrics from an uncharismatic, insecure man, but he is armed with serious weaponry and regularly surrounds himself with a private security team. More OSINT also suggests that fellow oligarch Ollen Eyesnot has been spending more time with him and is currently staying at his place. They’ve been showing off weapons, books they don’t read, games they don’t play, and pseudo-intellectual podcast sessions where they ramble about things they don’t care to understand. He is an optional target and is likely armed as well.
[OPERATION PLAN]
4 UNITS MAX; 3 ASSAULT + 1 SECURES EXFIL
3 CONCEALED DEPLOY SLOTS
5 MOBILITY DEPLOY SLOTS
We’ll be going in through the Hi-Central Megamall, which is a part of the larger Cleargreen Megaplaza (CGM), and is linked to KHCR via the Ecobridge. Casing has revealed the megaplaza’s numerous utility corridors and long maintenance hallways offer expansive, winding paths in and out of the structure, offering the most suitable infil/exfil point connected to the 47th floor thanks to a lack of security and scrutiny. At the entrance of the Ecobridge there is a concierge desk/office staffed by guards from both buildings, who should ignore us if we slip past inconspicuously, although the gates on both ends require keycards that we cannot get ahold of.
The place is teeming with material abundance; Like the rest of the High-Central district, most people here will be in way different tax brackets (assuming they pay taxes), although this is occasionally disrupted by the presence of lowly, simple-minded employs who keep the entire system running. We will blend in as the latter to avoid shelling out on fancy outfits and to compliment the infiltration route, if you’ve taken gig work on ServThem before, this should be like any other job from that app. Of course, we could always try to get on the 47th floor as shoppers, but if you don’t look rich you will look out of place and this route limits what we can bring. Given the collapsing economic situation and previous social strife, groups of lower-class employs casually strolling about in this part of town are treated with suspicion, and has resulted in arrests for ‘Unlawful public gatherings’ thanks to paranoid, pearl-clutching PoW.
Remember that speed, surprise, and especially stealth, are going to be extremely important, unless fighting through an onslaught of corpo-hired security and cops overdosed on military toys is on the bucket list. KHCR doesn’t have many guards at first glance, but there’s many of them twiddling their thumbs inside guards rooms (and sometimes, vacant properties with absent owners) interspersed throughout the skyscraper, itching for their moment to shine and ready to get to any floor in under a minute. Don’t give them a spark of hope. Also, megaplaza security likely have communications with their Kiskadee counterparts thanks to shared ownership, meaning any alert on one side may trigger responses on the other. Given that The Bird is acutely aware of public opinion towards him, he’s probably made sure that responding security will prioritize locking down the 47th floor and searching his apartment to check his status, while requesting megaplaza SafeGuard to create a perimeter. Armed public enforcers, and then Dynamic Response units will follow if there’s a real threat. Hopefully we don’t end up raising the alarm, but if we do, there’s ample space in the megaplaza hallways to lose them and slip out undetected.
[EXTRA NOTES]
Pack light! For the intended experience try to play with pistols and give your operators as much concealment points as possible.
Consider trying the map out with these mods:

– Agent 47 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3431375793
You can ignore all that though, play how you want and have fun!
This map took me an absurd amount of time as I used it to experiment a lot and I had to learn how to use triggers and waypoints on the go. Working on this on and off also made this come out much later than it should’ve, but hopefully my worldbuilding was consistent enough to make this a more immersive/convincing experience.
Please let me know if there are any problems in the comments.
