Taco Bell in Space
Map name: gm_tacobell_in_space
CHANGES FROM ORIGINAL:
Parking lot platform has been extended, the skybox is now the maximum size Hammer supports, lighting and cubemaps have been adjusted, and the map has been fixed for HDR, with all the HL2:DM and GE:S fluff removed. The pit teleporter also doesn’t cover the entirety of the skybox floor, but extends 2048 units out in each direction. If you miss it, you will be dealt 99,999,999 damage.
It bears repeating that I did not create the original map. I decompiled it, removed the unnecessary GE:S stuff, and made edits, added and changed some things, and then recompiled it for Gmod. I simply wanted to bring new, fresh life to an incredibly fun, creative, and obsecure map which me and my friends had fun on, on an obsecure, random server, for a relatively obsecure mod.
I will eventually probably expand this map with islands, floating roads, flat areas, and whatnot as a separate version.
It appears that the map starts to crash randomly when I add new things, even a simple floating island. Probably has something to do with brush size but oh well. Hammer++ and Slammin’ Source Tools can’t defeat Source jank on their own. Tragic!
